Two of Cups

Two of Cups
A couple brings a pair of chalices together between which arises a caduceus with the head of a lion

The adage no man is an island is profoundly true in regards to manifestation. Though our desires and dreams may seem to be ours and ours alone, the attainment of our goals is brought to fruition through the cooperation of others.

In fact, when we set out upon achieving a desired outcome, we do best when we can share the road with another who is aiming for the same destination. Two people working toward the same goal, even as their own versions of that shared goal, does more than double the effectiveness of one’s efforts. The combined forces of two like minds provides an exponential amount of progress.

As we join forces with another toward our endeavors, we provide one another with opportunities to serve as mutual support. We find that the other fills the inherent gaps in our knowledge, abilities, and talents in ways we could not imagine. Two people who share a singular goal in essence coalesce to form a power that is not unlike the creation of a third entity, much the way a couple creates a child through their combined energy.

When we find our individual progress seems to be stalled out, we would do well to seek out like-minded individuals with whom to collaborate in our vision. We will often find that doubling our efforts will not only greatly reduce the time needed to reach our goal, it will result in three times the reward that we had originally anticipated.
