We understand the basic principles behind manifesting our desired outcomes; we know we need to first set our intention, then we need to tap into the emotional state the outcome will provide us. Yet even while employing these methods we sometimes seem to find ourselves in an unsatisfactory station in life.

Often the reason for this undesired outcome reoccurring in our lives is due to our own tendency to block or inhibit the positive manifestations. While we consciously set our intentions and use deliberate positive visualization, it is the in-between times where we unconsciously unravel and set back these intentions. Fear, self-doubt, and negativity find themselves reversing and stemming off the positive manifestation process.

One of the most effective means of ensuring our intentions carry more weight than our interfering subconscious is to employ a regular practice of gratitude. Our desires are often based on something we do not currently have in our lives that we would like to gain, so in the process we end up focusing on what we lack. However, our lives often contain great abundance that we are not acknowledging or recognizing.

Frequently reviewing a list of the many blessings we have in our lives awakens us to our innate ability to manifest those things we desire and appreciate. We have many rewards, privileges, and good fortunes that we often take for granted, forgetting that we have attracted them into our lives at one time through our desires and the intentions we once set to receive them, through the many actions we have taken to bring them into our lives.

The feeling of lack is one of the greatest inhibitors of manifesting desired outcomes. Inversely, the frequent and consistent feeling of appreciation is one of the most powerful energies we can use to make that which we desire come to fruition. During the times when we are feeling bereft of satisfaction in our lives is the best time to take inventory of our blessings, counting even the tiniest and seemingly least significant of them. This will instantly reenergize the power behind our ability to create positive outcomes.
